I've never been a massive fan of Amaretto until I tried this recently.
Finally an authentic Italian Amaretto. Crafted since 1851 it's made and bottled is Saronno, Italy. The main reason I'm a fan of Lazzaroni is because of the unique and traditional method used to create it. Unlike Luxardo and Disarrono where they distill from Apricot and Cherry kernels/ This is an old and unique formula where they infuse the famous cookies 'Amaretti di Sarrono' with there base spirit.
Being made through an infusion, this gives a slightly lower alcohol percentage than others at 24 abv.
